Position Overview:
Our Nutrition Services Dept seeks Food Service Associates (Dietary Aides) to join our team and play a crucial role in providing patients with a positive experience during their stay.
You'll listen carefully to their dietary needs and handle meal requests in a timely manner.
Assemble food trays using accurate portion controls; adhere to recipes; maintain proper food handling; perform daily sanitation procedures.
Highlights of this position include:
Great entry level role for individuals interested in a career in health care or food service On the job training is available Great for individuals who enjoy customer service Excellent opportunities for those seeking entry level exposure to a patient facing role.
Shift differentials available for evening/weekend shifts.
Full-time, part-time and per-diem shifts available (great for students!) Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED Experience in a healthcare-based dietary role preferred Ability to learn general nutrition principles and diet modifications Ability to work with institutional food service equipment Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills
