Glens Falls, NY Glens Falls, NY Full-time Full-time 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago Telecommunications Supervisor - - (230KM) Description As a key member of the Health Information Services (HIS) Department, the Supervisor, Telecommunications will be responsible for overseeing the day to day duties of the telecommunication team The Supervisor will partner with the Manager on programming, and maintaining voice and data systems.
Oversight includes, but is not limited to, supervising the Switchboard Operators to ensure the proper triage and processing of customer and physician calls are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Supervisory duties also include processing calls for the answering service, tracking and distribution of cell phones and pagers, as well as ensuring that the weekly schedule is updated and posted.
This position is also responsible for updating policies and procedures, as well as ensuring they are followed.
Qualifications Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills/Abilities:
